Does Y!A police itself or is it the users who report that get things deleted?

Users report. I've been reported several times. The majority of the time it's just people who do not like your point of view.

Well I reported only 1 person before. But I did it many, many, many, many times. Valencia reports 12 year olds that come on here (which they ARE to young, but she takes it way out of proportion), and basically any person SHE doesn't like. Which is LOOOOTTSSS of people. I actually teamed up with a lady from the UK (Lynzeigh), and I'm sure other people were reporting Valencia too. She is a cyber bully, and the majority of her answers are putting the askers down saying that they are basically stupid for not knowing the answer to a question. Yet, somehow she still is in the number 3 spot in the cat section. She had one of my accounts deleted, then I deleted hers. Then one day my new account was deleted. So I made this one. I don't think it was her though, because I hadn't had a fight with her for a while. But, it made me begin reporting all of her rude answers again, because she doesn't deserve to put people down like that.

The only thing that I report is spam. I hate spam!

Some people don't have a very good sense of humor and they are easily offended. I got 2 violation notices in the last 24 hours. 1 was because I asked a simple question and some lady had a rude answer so I called her an old hag, haha, and she must have reported it.

Users are the ones reporting...and often, they are not that bright. This is a place to ask real questions and get real advice and if you ask a silly questions you need to expect a silly answer. If you are a troll...you should expect to get called out on it. I had two violations last week..one for saying "ewwww" and the other for saying "same question - different day". I don't get it other than there are some small minds out there. They should have an "idiot" category where all these people could hang out...stay off of M&D.

Ive gotten two violation emails in the last two days. One was because I pointed out that abuse was okay with the bible (and it really is...look it up!!) And the second was just cause the person asked some stupid question but couldnt spell a single thing right, so I mocked them....ugh.

It gets a little nit picky sometimes I think. Ive also been blocked by many a troll when Ive pointed them out as such.

Generally it's the users. If enough users report the same question, it will be deleted.

I only report if it's highly offensive using slurs and such or it has something to do with something illegal such as child porn or something.

You can send them an email to fight the removal if you feel it was wrong, but you better be able to prove that you were within the rules. I have had a question reinstated before, so they do actually look at them.

I only report suicide threats, really bad comments about children and any racial slurs.

Other stuff, I could care less if someone wants to look like a fool.

I have tried to ask a few questions and someout out there doesn't like my style of writing- so they get reported and removed. One time I simply asked the M&D people of the day if their morning started as happily as mine, including sex that day. Some guy said I was bragging. Y!A removed it.

I have not reported you. I don't see things you write as deeply offensive.

Both. I would report adult content because there are children using this site. Or hate speech. Mostly I just don't answer questions I don't like though.

For some reason, you have violated THEIR sense of sensibility. Maybe they just don't agree with your opinion. Maybe they think you are somebody that you are not. mayber you've made a YA Enemy.

Doesn;t matter. YA doesn't police the reporters, either!
