What do people think of girls with tongue piercings?

Question

Besides the oral side of it. I really want to get one done- It's easily concealed, and I just like them- but I don't want to be negatively judged because of it. I don't want it for anything to do with oral, just for myself, but I was wondering what else people think of them?

I'd wait until I was in college to do it (My mom would FREAK, and I wouldn't be able to hide the swelling/speech issues from her if I was at home) and I know that it heals extremely quickly so if I decided I regretted it that could be fixed easily.

Tongue piercings cause a lot of tooth damage, the enamel wears down and you'll probably swallow the ball all the time and have to always buy new ones (my friend has hers done).

I've considered getting it myself done but it doesn't seem worth the damage and costs.

Guys, and even girls, don't usually think positively of girls with tongue piercings. They're associated with being trashy

I think they make you appear trashy/slutty. Most people see the "oral" part of it only and think the girl is easy if she has one. 

I used to have one, and noticed that people do act differently. I didn't want to be judged, and I didn't want people to assume that I was low class, so I let it go.

in my opinion when i would somebody like that i would think that they wont have a succesful future and just hang around the streets, as again look- trashy-.
