Hypoallergenic /non-plastic water dispenser for cats?
My cat developed a problem from her drinking bowl because she is allergic to plastic. It make her lower lip swell up.
Now the trouble is that I, her owner, am somewhat absent-minded, and in view of that her drinking bowl was a mini water cooler that only needed filling every week.
Can someone recommend another water dispenser not made of plastic? Preferably, one that does not break the bank. Are there special types of plastic that don't bother cats?

I've been looking for that too. Its not good for ANY cat to be drinking or eating from plastic bowls. I'd love to have one of the fountain water dishes, but they all are made of plastic. To me you can't wash them clean enough.
As far as I know, none of the water fountains come in other material. I'll be looking to see if any one comes up with an alternative.

High-density polyethylene , (plastic) comes in many a form, and some leach, some don't.
Research different brands and see which ones are less likely to leach. And yes, even the water bottles we drink our water from leach.
Usually, pet water bowls, well those that cost more than fifty cents, are coated with an antibacterial shield that should also prevent if from leaching the chemicals into the water.
I could do the work for you, but then it would take me hours, and well, even if I get best answer, it's actually YOUR job to make sure you have the best, not what I type here, as unless you research, I can like most here, tell you what you want to hear instead of the truth.
Hope this helps,
