Is US presidential law discriminating?
I don't know the details, but I have learned that in order for a person to become president in the USA, one must be born in the USA. Wouldn't that be considered a type of discrimination? I know it's part of the constitution, but isn't it time for the constitution to be renewed?

Yes it is a form of discrimination but you have to remember that the constitution was written over 200 years ago and things have changed a lot since then.
Whether this part could ever be changed I very much doubt. Many Americans have a great mistrust and general prejudice against non-Americans.
If a persons parents had emigrated to the US when that person was only 6 months old and they subsequently spent the next 40 years as an American, perhaps even fighting for the US they still would not be able to run for the position of President.
It's about time America entered the 21st century.

It's not time for the Constitution to be renewed. How would that even be done? If you mean AMENDED then no it's not time for that either. Yes it is discrimination, but it is to help prevent some one from coming here to win an election and hand the Country over. Come on some Chinese person could come over here, bring a bunch of them with them and wait until those people get the right to vote and just outnumber us. After 3 elections or so they could elected their guy President.

So, what is discriminating about that? Personally, it should go further than being natural born, and lived in the USA for Fourteen years! BOTH parents should be American Citizens, preferably, they too being born in the USA. When ONE parent is, and the other isn't, the child will grow up with mixed loyalties - for instance - Obama. HIS mother, from all accounts, married a foreign National, and another after divorcing him, then gave up her citizenship and lived most of her life OUTSIDE the United States! Obama himself, entered the mainland of the United States with an Indonesian passport!
If you think about it, if we changed that law, don't you think it would be fair for ALL the other countries to follow suit!? Why us? Why are we picked as discriminators? Look at England for instance! When we were fighting for our freedom,England had a German King, and he couldn't even speak English! Now does that make sense!? So, suppose, we get a Japanese President who can't speak English! Does that mean, we will all have to learn Japanese? Do you honestly think Germany would allow a Russian to run their country? If a foreigner thinks they could do a better job of running this country, why didn't they just stay home and do their own country proud! And believe me, there's ONE country south of the border who needs to get it's own act straight before criticizing the way we run ours!

Not all discrimination is illegal.
It would change all professional sports to end ALL discrimination. Imagine if basketball hoops in the NBA had to be "wheelchair accessible." Imagine if jobs as jockeys had to be open to the obese. Imagine if hot-dog eating contests were required to have a vegetarian division.
Some discrimination makes sense and is allowed.
Try learning some of the details.

We have a process to change the constitution, it's called amendments...they require 3/4 of the states to approve it. This is the presidency, of course it's discriminatory, foreigners do not act in the interest of the USA.
What we have now is a usurpation by a non-natural born Citizen, so by installing him illegally they have tried to change it by fiat.
