You will take proper and standard trainings not only to fly but also the basics and safety requirements in flying a helicopter. It takes the most serious commitment to complete helicopter training. From cost to the amount of time in practice and study, there is no window for half measures.

They'll teach you everything. Day, night, multi engine. Anything and everything. You can't drop some poor guys in to a jungle at night from an SH60 if you are only rated to fly a single engine helicopter in daylight now can you.

Well you will get full training, they won't give you a helicopter to play with unless you can fly it.

Warrant Officers are usually the best chopper pilots. If you want to join the Army to fly that's the way to do it.

They'll give you as much training as you're able to handle.
