Why would the doctor say this? Medication?

I ended up in the hospital due to an allergic reaction to another medication i was on. he put me on predisone for 5 days, he gave me one around 1:30am in the morning and told me to have one when i wake up.

but on the papers it says to take one once everyday in the morning. I just had one now so should i have one tommorow around 9am like it says on the papers or what?

Im confused, and it says not to stop suddenly but im done after 5 days ? super confused should i just not take them, ive only had two

Take them as the paper says. You don't have to worry about stopping since you are only taking them for five days. The "stopping suddenly" warning is for people who have been taking them for much longer.
