Christians: how do you feel about this statement?
If everyone on earth was a Jehovah's Witness there would be no more war
Aure: how very true, lol but lets keep it within our species please
Biblechoser: everyone includes those in charge. No witness would ever cause or engage in warfare
Bianca: with respect, your are missing the point. If every person alive was a Jehovahs Witness there would be no more wars - for whatever reason
Nissi: Jehovahs Witnesses died in Nazi Germany because of their neutral stance. And all they had to do to escape the camps was to sign a piece of paper to reject their faith!
Throughout the world they are being sent to prison without trial for refusing to take part in compulsory military service
Therefore the claim is based on a solid foundation evident by past and current behaviours
Querty: true!
But arent Christians meant to be peace lovers?
The point is that Christian means Christ like...Christ never raised his hand against another human being and his followers are meant to follow his example.
Rustic B - yes indeed all Jehovahs Witnesses follow Christs admonition to love their neighbour
And you are corredt in stating that if any did resort to pressure then they would be removed from the congregation.
Going with Nazi Germanys example: very, very few caved under extreem pressure
And it is also true that if everyone was a Jehovahs Witness then there would be no more abortions
Ernest S - you misunderstand. We do not claim to be the source of peace but we are demonstrating the effects of putting on the Christian personality
We do not deny Christ - he is our ransomer - we must follow his example in order to develop the Christian personality. We cannot come to God unless we avail ourself of Christs ransom.
I respect your opinion but you are ignoring the facts that if everyone applied the scriptural principle of loving ones neighbour ( a principle given to us by Christ & accomplished through the power of the holy spirit) then war would cease.
Please consider - can you say the same about members of your own faith?
If not, how can you reconcile this with the fact that Christians have to demonstrate their faith in love for God and ones neighbour?

Jehovah's Witnesses have proven time and time again that they would rather die, than kill others.
If everyone lived this way, there would be no soldiers to fight the wars.
In the near future this statement will be true. Only those whom Jehovah saves will be upon the earth.
Rev.21:3,4 death will be done away with.

No, because of the fact of fact exterior of ways Rev Wright spoke on his disgust for the government and how our usa has been ran, I agree alongside along with his sentiments approximately our political leaders. I additionally did now no longer hear any truthfully racist comments come from him, as this way of staggering form of have been speedy to assert.

If true, then it would also be true to say that if everyone on the earth were Catholics, there would be no more abortions. You assume that all Jehovah’s Witnesses follow the rules. What would probably happen is that the JWs who promoted war would be kicked out of the religion.

I believe it.
However I think the statement should be amended to "If everyone on earth was a PERFECT Jehovah's Witness there would be no more war."
We're all imperfect, all of us. Some still might want to fight or to take up arms against those with differing viewpoints. Until we're all perfect in God's eyes, there's no guarantee that war would cease to exist.

What you say is of the spirit of antichrist.
War can only cease in Christ but you assert that it ceases in Jehovah's Witnesses.
Jehovah's Witnesses deny Christ, even in their name, and cannot have Him indwelling since they deny His Divinity. Only God can indwell the human spirit. Only the Holy Spirit can dwell with an individual. God can only join Himself to an individual if their sin has been taken away by God. Only God can take away sins. Since all sin is against God that ought to be abundantly obvious.
But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.
But Jehovah's Witnesses deny that Christ indwells His Own and therefore are none of His.
Obviously only God can indwell all His people since He is not limited and not finite.
Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his, therefore Jehovah's Witnesses are none of His and to assert peace without Him is the spirit of antichrist.
To deny this truth is the spirit of antichrist.
And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.

Most wars are not fought for religious reasons, but for the gain of land, political power, and/or other resources. For instances most of the unrest in the Middle East is not because of religion its for control of the oil. Religion is usually the straw that breaks the camels back

that is so true. we are taught to love our neighbor as ourselves. I love it when rustic who goes around slandering Jehovah Witnesses. he knows nothing about us. you can see the way Jehovah Witnesses act, no matter where we go in 235 lands worldwide we get along with each other

Honestly: I don't believe it.
I think that leaders of nations would still find excuses to go to war.
Nevertheless, I think war would be greatly reduced. Of course, the same thing could be said if everyone was a Quaker, or a Jainist, or a...well, you get the idea.

You may as well say if everyone was a pacifist there would be no more war, for all the practical value it has.
