Can you skip the pink sugar pills in birth control?
I don't want my period, so I'm thinking of skipping the pink pills. I've never done it before, so I'm a little afraid.. but I heard you can. So I was wondering if it was okay? And I'd like to hear peoples experiences with not taking the pink pill. I'm on Levora.

I just went to the gyno and multiple doctors and sources say that "there's no healthy reason you have your period." It's just your body getting ready for conception and if you're not ready for that, then your body does not need to get ready for it. You can skip the pink pills if you want for "as long as you want" as to skip your period (think of Seasonique does this). It's not as popular because people are worried and feel they need to have a period. You might spot as if it were a period but my doctor told me just to stop taking the pill and "empty out." It's whatever you feel comfortable with. Hope this helps!

Yes you can skip the sugar pills and just start a new pack to "skip" your period. It is not a good idea to do this a lot or often... but once in a while it is ok...

Yes if you just go stait to the new pack of birth control and dont wanna get a period at all. I do it sometimes but you should check with ur dr cuz you could have a hard time getting your new pack of bc if ur insurance pays for it, thy do it according to time and if you skip the sugar pills youll need ur bc sooner than normal and ur insurance might make you wait if ur tryna get it sooner than he pills should be gone
