Does Mitt Romney think Mormons are guaranteed a ticket to Heaven but non-Mormons won't necessarily fare as well?

Mitt Romney, the LDS golden boy, totally believes in his church. Unless it conflicts with popular opinion polls. Then he alters it slightly to what they want to hear. His church, LDS Enterprises, Ltd., advises him to do this to garner the 2012 presidential nomination of the US. It's in their prophecy handbook, "Confessions of The Final Crowned King of Israel, Vol. Naught", by King Joseph Smith, Theocrat-god (1844).

According to their church's name, it answers your question. If you think about it. "Latter Day Saints". The Gospel that the gates of hell could not prevail against according to Jesus Christ, was prevailed against in the Dark Ages. Which is why they called them the Dark Ages? Nobody noticed this pre-vailing. Anyway, the true gospel of Fakery was "restored" to the mormon church through Joe Smith, King of Charlatanism. (Is that a real or fake word?) This made their church the ONE TRUE CHURCH. Only mormons will be saved, if they accept Joe Smith as One Who Must Be Obeyed in heaven. The rest of us poor schmucks will be their man-god's slaves and/or concubines, if you like that kind of thing. The remained clothed will be toilet cleaners, I assume? I mean, they are mortal-based gods, after all. Correct.

Of course, Mitt thinks mormons are superior to non-mormons. All of them do. I once did. I now know better..... most nonmormons are superior to mormons. Try and get it out of them, tho. They are too arrogant for such humbleness.

So, yes. Mitt believes he's got the ticket because of what he was born into, not how he can be born again. Every mormon believes it.

Mormons don't believe that. Everyone, except for the Sons of Perdition, will go to a section of heaven. But, what does the belief that only those who go through an LDS temple will get to the highest kingdom of heaven and no one else will have to do with anything. All other religions teach that they will go to heaven and the rest will go to hell. Isn't the Mormon way better? You may not get to the highest kingdom, but at least you will make it to a kingdom of heaven rather than the other way.

all mormons think that...in a way. They think you have to be married in the temple, which only members can. non-members will have to be baptized and go through the temple to get to heaven...even if it happens after death.

Grela Latuc....How is that any better? It is still "we are better than you" According to mormons it is a curse to not have God with you. God is only in the highest kingdom. So everyone who isnt going to the CK is cursed for eternity. Yep...that is so much better than hell.

Mitt Romney did no longer say this, Brigham youthful did. i for my area have not got any way of understanding Mitt's ideals on the project. Brigham youthful is seldom quoted in Sunday college. i do no longer think of I even have ever considered that quote till now. i do no longer advise to be offensive, yet I do tend to trust Brigham in this project. i do no longer advise it interior the favourite experience, yet interior the comparable experience that the apostle John meant; he mentioned that there have been already many antichrist, and that they got here out of the church. i've got faith the anti-christ concept-approximately themselves as Christian, yet believed in numerous heresies that John and the different apostles fought against. a sort of heresies is the impersonal everywhere-present god of the 2nd temple era Jews. Jesus taught of a extra own god, an anthropomorphic god with human attributes; a god that replaced into actually his father. it is extra in keeping with the pre-exilic Israelites of the 1st temple era. They believed that God replaced into an exalted guy, and that he had a throne interior the heavens, surrounded via multiple concourses of angels. hence, he replaced into regularly going on because of the fact the Lord of Hosts. the single Catholic creed that's accompanied via very almost all cutting-edge Christians is the creed of the Trinity. The word "trinity" isn't present in holy writ, yet is a 4th century creed, a heresy that replaced into invented and then known via vote. John stated as those sectarians anti-christ because of the fact they denied that there replaced into the two a literal father and a literal son, preserving to the assumption of many Jews that God did no longer have a human form, yet replaced into an everywhere present spirit or essense. With super unhappiness, John mourned the top to the Christian church in his very final letters. To me it replaced into obtrusive, as I study them. The church fell into apostasy interior the 1st century advert, and an incredible form of straight forward and useful issues have been lost. do no longer confuse distinctive non secular ideals with a loss of compassion and understand in direction of all adult adult males. it is his compassion and understand that make him a sturdy selection for president.

While looking round heaven recently, with the thought of buying a time share, St Peter showed me cloud covered enclaves in the distance. When I asked he pointed to one, "Mormons in there," he pointed to another "Catholics in there." I must have looked puzzled so he shrugged, "they like to think they are the only ones here, pity they don't mix."

That is part of mormon theology so yes. He believes he is a "member" of (the mormon) god's one, true church and all other churches are corrupt and "of the devil". He is brainwashed by a cult.

Is there a philosophical angle to your question, or just bigotry and paranoia? Try the religion forum, or have they kicked you out?

You'd have to ask him what he thinks -- strangers couldn't possibly be able to tell you.

Why are you asking this in Philosophy instead of Politics or Religion?

I don't think he believes that.
