Neither thanks, I'd just like the government to "grasp the nettle" and build more Nuclear Power Stations and stop wasting our taxes on "environmentally friendly" nonsense!
(You hit a raw nerve there "D" as they are building yet more windmills in MY beautiful Bay!

Wind turbines are beautiful, but very noisy up close, although I'd love to see the look on the face of the miserable, whining, ex-cop who lives next door, if one went up in our garden!
I've a small solar panel on my little boat, which keeps a trickle charge going to the battery when we're not able to get to her, like in the Winter and she's frozen into the Marina, and we've had 4 panels on the roof of our house. It's lovely when the sun is shining - you can hear the water bubbling as it gets hot in the huge tank, but financially I doubt it will pay for itself in our lifetime. Hope someone else will benefit when we shuffle off.
oops - Edit a spelling mistake. Just had my wrists slapped by the YA police and sent to the bottom of the class for correcting it!

Ideally I'd like both as it's usually either windy or sunny so you get the best of both worlds. If I had to choose it would probably be solar panels as I doubt you would get planning on a majority of homes and gardens for wind turbines.
I have looked into solar and you can get free solar panels</a> form companies such as A shade Greener.

Someone once said, and not me, that where I live breaks the wind for the whole county. So a wind turbine would be best.
