With the New Look, has Yahoo made 'Starring' redundant...since now it informs us of Every question answered?

by our Contacts?!! And the same is repeated if it is Starred too! Why this duplication of work?!?

Does anyone else find this exercise in window-dressing unnecessary...and cluttered? I mean, where's the need for showing 'Activity Details' openly? Give us the option to 'hide' it, please!

I know, we, of the human species, can/will adapt ourselves to any changes eventually...but grumbling/groaning is our birthright ;) And if someone agrees, we feel mighty pleased too!

What do you have to say?!?

I guess Yahoo Staff needs to justify the salary they may be getting, LOL! While we, who work for them gratis are forced to tow the line!

They hardly give us any liberties, like you said, to choose colour scheme or rotate our contacts to bring favourites on the front page, to greet them *smilingly* on logging on ;))

One significant change is that now you can set your 'Private' profile 'open for you fans' also! At last change, they had made it 'Only For Contacts'.

    I don't like change. I opened Yahoo Answers and noticed right off that my profile picture was huge, and that is not a bad thing (so far...) as I get to (finally) see the whole top outfit that I picked for my avatar. But to my disappointment (at least I believe...) I am the only one who can see my "close up avatar"...LOL...I don't care...as long as the important stuff stays the same.

    So what the !!!! did they change...I still don't know...

    Why change anything I say it worked didn't it?....;-)

    If it ain't broke leave it alone, never were truer words written....

    I appreciate Yahoo Answers just the way it is, with all the changes and glitches from time to time.

    I come for the sole purpose of sharing, learning and friends. I really, hardly notice the 'window dressing' or the games people play here.

    I star every question I answer and some that I don't, just because. :D

    i hate it !

    it's so cluttered..i preferred the simplicity of the previous version...

    i saw it yesterday for the first time and i was confused with this new layout..

    it takes some getting used to, but i'm sure eventually we will adapt and accept..

    until the next big change yahoo decides to impose on us..

    All these silly Y!A updates lately are completely unnecessary. I wish they did an update, where you could change the colour scheme on here, depending on your mood.

    I don't see the difference. I see the same as I used to in network activity with only stylistic alterations. We can't see others' activity details, only our own surely?

    Yes... Duplication of work.... I feel so...! They will made some more changes...! Please post your valuable suggestion in the suggestion board..! I agree with your points...! But i like some changes... Also dislike some changes.....................! But i really dont know what this question doing in philosophy section...!
