If I borrowed my friend's copy of an Xbox game and installed it to the hard drive and gave it back, could I play it or would it conflict with his copy? Would my Xbox get banned? Or should I just avoid connecting it to internet while playing?

Installing a game to the hard drive does not enable you to play it without the disk, it only copies certain game files to the hard drive to reduce load times. So, no, your Xbox would not get banned, but you wouldn't be able to connect to the internet, either.

This is an entirely different story if you're using a modded Xbox, of course. In that case, you do want to avoid Xbox Live, as they can and probably will detect this sort of use.

You still need the disc in the drive to play it.

i might want to assert 'stay in case you want', 'pass in case you want'. see you later as my contacts wrote me once a month or so. in simple terms to assert hi. My music of immediately replaced into Darling Nikki. My day replaced into undesirable, yet exciting. I discovered a lot immediately!
