Make a duvet!! Get 2 sets of flannel sheets and sew the flat ones on 3 sides. Attach the open side with ribbon or buttons or velcro stuff your comforter in it.
Or
Get an all white comforter or duvet cover and add a fun winter bed throw and matching pillows. The all white (or what ever color works for your room) cover is really versatile as you can alter the throw and pillows at whim for a whole new look. http://www.decorpad.com/photos/2009/01/28/4599d137...

Gosh, I see them everywhere. Target has them (snowflake flannel duvet covers),and both L.L.Bean and The Company Store have many styles in their catalogs and on-line stores. Snowflakes, snowmen, reindeer, ski scenes, pine trees, penguins -- you name it.
