Book suggestions please. Fantasy books mainly.?

im having trouble finding a good book. Im into fantasy books with a little romance. Some books i like are the hunger games, eragon, supernaturalist, alex rider, artemis fowl, gracling, fire, books like that. Please nothing with a ton of teen drama and stuff, i really cant stand those books.

Any suggestions would be great thanks!

This is probably strange but this is what i do (I hope I can explain properly). I go to a book site like Goodreads or Bookcrossing.

    1 - I search for a book that I really really loved.

2 - I browse through other reader's comments and ratings of that particular book

3 - when I find a user that had the same rating/opinion of that particular book, I then

4 -Click on that user's library of books

5 - Browse through their books until I find one that they gave high rating/reviews

6 - If I then like the description of the book I write down the book info so that I can buy that book next.

I use this method all of the time. I have found some excellent books this way. It makes sense because these random people have the same taste as me, so they are probably going to have read great books that I would probably like too.

They may be difficult to find but Mervyn Peake's Ghornenghast novels are great. There are no wizards and magic. There is nothing supernatural at all. But they are fantasy. Sometimes people call them the Ghormenghast trilogy when, in fact, Peake had started the fourth novel when he died.

Mythago Wood and Lavondyss are great, both by Robert Holdstock.

Rumors of Spring by Richard Grant is one of the strangest and loveliest books ever.

You'd LOVE A Great and Terrible Beauty by Libba Bray. It's one of my favorite series. It's not extremely fantasy-ey, but it's has to do with magic, visions, other realms, and there's even a Gorgon.

You should try "The Demon King" by Cinda Williams Chima. GREAT book. It's fantasy.
