should i get a touchscreen phone or one with a qwerty keypad?

i'm looking to get a new cellphone, but i'm not really a techie and there are now so many to choose from. first of all, i don't know whether i should get a touchscreen phone or a qwerty. i've been using my old nokia phone with a number keypad for so long so i'll have to adjust either way.

i would like a phone that can do email, yahoo messenger, facebook, and net searching capablities so i can look up dictionary words online. a dictionary app would be even better.

i don't mind a crappy camera, but i do want to use the phone as a movie player and mp3 player, so i guess a relatively large memory is in order.

suggestions, anyone?

    I would get a touchscreen phone with a qwerty physical keyboard. However, if you can only choose on, get a touchscreen since they're more fun.

    If you text a lot then the qwerty keyboard is probably better.

    if money is no object then i suggest getting an iphone. it has a qwerty touch keyboard so it's easy on the hands. you can go on the internet with it, check your email, and download apps like yahoo messenger, facebook and wordweb dictionary (you can download them free of charge from the appstore). it has an ipod so it can play music and videos as well. it also has a camera that is also capable of video recording. from the sound of it i think it's the phone you're looking for.

    i've got been given a sparkling samsung epic the day basically before this and so far i like it. it has a great demonstrate screen and qwerty keyboard. its by ability of far the terrific telephone and ive had distinctive telephones. in basic terms a theory you will be able to desire to to have time-commemorated :-)

    You should have both.

    Samsung Epic 4G is the best thing out right now i think

    3.7 inch screen

    5 row keyboard

    ANDROID OS
