Anyone else having issues with Virgin Mobile wireless no contract broadband tonight? I get a message that says connection rejected. What gives?

Yes! OMG I thought I was the only person having this problem. I just bought the prepaid Virgin WiFi modem and took me about 3 hours to get it working. And it's not even working perfectly. My laptop received the signal from the modem but wouldn't connect to the internet, for some reason. Eventually I stumbled upon a page on the Virgin website and managed to activate the broadband. That established a connection but the software that came with the modem still wouldn't "connect".

So it looks as if I've got a stable if not shaky connection on my laptop, but my iPod Touch doesn't want to know it at all. Is it even compatible with iTouch? I was told it was but eh.

It's bloody frustrating isn't it? It does bring me moderate relief to know I'm not alone in my battle for broadband though...... are you having similar issues to me?

Yep. Been going in and out for about 24+ hours. I was able to get service a few times by rebooting the mifi but eventually even that didn't work. I tried calling tech support yesterday and waited a long time. The recording said, "We're really busy" so I finally hung up. I'm sure everyone is calling about the same thing. So I gave up. Knowing it's in the system and not my own issues - I'll just try to have patience. This has happened before and they did eventually fix it.
