What's a nice town to visit in the fall in the Hudson Valley part of New York?

I've been to New Paltz and Woodstock but I'd like to take a drive up there tomorrow. Any ideas?

    Hudson has a bohemian area that might have some interest. Also there is a house-museum nearby known as Olana that is interesting. It was designed by an artist and the view from each window frames an attractive vista.

    it's a little further up but saratoga springs is a great town, lake george is still reasonably close to the hudson valley region
