What should I dress my daughter in for pictures?

I decided to take my 5yr old to get her pics done for the holidays. She's never had them done in a fancy dress/Cristmas. I want her to wear a pretty dress. Only problem is, I am a very picky person and I am having trouble deciding on which to buy. So here are the ones I like but now I can't decide on which to purchase. I need help, any suggestions will be greatly appreciated. Thanks for looking and have a great day. Look at all 8 dresses and I will award points. Thanks so much.

First dress: Cute and it looks like a very fun dress, but I don't really prefer the tool on the skirt. I remember having to wear dresses with a lot of tool in it, and it would get really irritating and leave my legs itchy. Comfort is definitely key for the perfect dress for a 5 year old. I don't think you'd want a crying baby on the camera because her dress was super uncomfortable. ):

Second dress: Adorable. The deep red is extremely pretty and elegant but the dress itself is youthful too. It also looks a great holiday dress. It's a pretty good price too, so so far this I like.

Third/sixth dress: Sooo beautiful, but I think it's a little too mature (and a little pricey may I add) for a 5 year old. It looks like a dress for a woman, with the rousing and all. If you were to get this dress though, I much rather prefer the third dress with the same hot pink band than the purple band. The purple and the hot pink don't look all too well together.

Fourth dress: In general, I don't really find the dress very appealing. Though it looks like it fits well for the holidays.

Fifth dress: I like the material and how the skirt is a lot less poofy than the other ones (less poof = more comfort) but for some reason, i don't really like the white. I like the idea of a deep color. It seems more suited for the holidays, and call me crazy, but I think this dress looks like a mini-version of a bridesmaid's dress.

Seventh dress: So adorable! I love this one! The color and the flower on the band are really pretty, but I almost think that the color leans more to the pink side than the red-side. The whole dress leans more on a summery look rather than holidays.

Eighth dress: I like how this one looks really age-appropriate but i don't like the sleeves. Puffy sleeves like that usually end up being uncomfortable (gets too tight for the arms, suffocates/irritates arms).

My favorite would have to be the second dress (as a dress alone; I didn't take into consideration the head piece). But I'd really advise you to ask your daughter which one she likes to make the photoshoot a lot funner for her and also remember that comfort is KEY. If you end up getting a dress that she doesn't find comfortable, then take it off immediately. There shouldn't be a reason for a little kid to be forced to wear something he/she does not want to wear. I hope you find the perfect dress and that your little girl finds it perfect also. ;)

Look a 5 year old doesn't want there picture taken just stop. Its obviously something with you trying to have people say ooh look at her daughter she is so cute.

i like the first and the fourth one best.

but i would really try to match the flower color to the dress color.

if the flower and is a lighter red, and the dress is more burgandy,

    it won't really look right.

The Natural look is always better. Quit trying to solicit your child and accept her as she is!!
