Can an illegal alien travel from California to Georgia in a bus through Arizona?

Ok so before you add racist answers read this first please

I have a friend who's Mexican an illegal here but he's planning to travel from Los angeles to Georgia in a bus but the cheapest ticket makes him travel through Arizona but he's afraid cause of the law in Arizona would behave any problems or should take another route like traveling first to Colorado theto Georgia?

By the way he's going back to his country so be happy there's gonna be 1 illegal alien less

    Just because someone wishes for others to follow the laws the rest of us follow doesn't mean we are racist.

    And, I'm not sure, but if he is very concerned, I would suggest taking a route that avoids Arizona for a few extra dollars. If it means the difference in being arrested. Next time, he should really try for a Green Card, though. If we have to follow our countries laws, others need to as well, not only for our benefit, but for their own. :)

    The Arizona law requires that police have some reason to detain a person (other than suspected immigration status). Someone minding their own business on a bus is not likely to be detained. Besides, I believe their is a court injunction against enforcing the law now.

    if he has the extra money to pay to go past Arizona then try that if not then go with the cheaper ticket. Also try going online or calling the bus and find out the prices for each ticket and compare prices.

  • He should just go straight back to Mexico.
