    Hi Tyler,

You could buy a wireless range extender, but these are useless.

So, these are the things you would need to do

    1) Get some CAT5e (or CAT6) ethernet cable - long enough to run from your main router to the new router. You can buy a cable pre-cut and pre-crimped with RJ45 connectors, but be prepared to pay more for this.

    2) Log on to your existing router and make a note of:

    a) The SSID (network name)

    b) The wireless encryption standard (eg. WPA2) and key

    c) The IP address (such as 192.168.0.1)

    2) Turn off the main router, power on the new router and connect to it via Ethernet cable. Don't plug anything else in.

    2) Access the router (192.168.0.1 or similar) and configure any wireless settings set the SSID and the wireless encryption to the exact settings of the existing router. Save and reboot.

    3) Enter the advanced network setup on your new router. Change the IP address of the new router to an IP used by your existing router - in my case, my Belkin is 192.168.2.1 - so I set my router to 192.168.2.254.

    4) Turn OFF the DHCP server. (These steps should be done together as they should be on the same page of your router). Save and reboot.

    4) Now, plug the cable from the LAN of your existing router into the LAN (NOT the WAN) of your new router. Your existing router will detect the IP address you set and will route traffic through it accordingly.

I've set up loads of these for people so if you need help, let me know.
