Are freshly laid farm eggs safe for chemotherapy patients to eat?

My father is on chemotherapy , a friend of mine gave me some freshly laid eggs ( so fresh they were still hot) LOL, anyhow, I'm curious if anyone knows if they are safe to eat if your on chemotherapy. I plan on cooking them thoroughly.

I used to have many chickens - for the eggs - I am also a recent chemo patient....

I would take those eggs and put them in the sink with cold water and a dash of dishwashing liquid. Soak them a bit and then take a kitchen sink scrub brush and brush them off, then rinse them in clear water.

The one thing with chemo patients is you have to be careful of bacteria so you don't get an infection. And, I know some people that don't wash their eggs when they come out of the nest. So, just wash them first in cold water/soap and rinse and then they should be fine not to get dirt into the cracked eggs.

    Good luck.

not sure , but I can tell you that chemo kill more than cancer cells , it kill healthy cells and immune cells , one thing you can do that will keep his immune system strong is low dose naltrexone , it is non toxic and very low cost any doctor can prescribe it or you can get it online , it is safer than aspirin ,

but has a profound effect on the immune system , he needs his immune system to stay strong through this and ldn can be taken with chemo , he should try to avoid sugar !!

also look up immunocal , it is patented and listed in the physicians desk reference , it stops the wasting effect from cancer and it has saved many lives , like ldn has saved many lives !!

ldn and immunocal will give your dad a huge advantage , both are non toxic , here is a medical doctors site about low dose naltrexone ...http://www.lowdosenaltrexone.org/ and below are some links about immunocal from doctors , God bless you !

As long as they are cooked well. I was told to not have things like mayonnaise etc., as they had raw eggs in them and therefore could have bacteria.
