Websites for building a website?

So, I haven't built a website in well over five years, and when I did, I was just having fun with it because it was only for me. I knew basic HTML--that's the extent of my knowledge. No CSS or JAVA, etc.

I'm not familiar with what companies are currently out there to host and help with building a website. I'm looking for:

1) free with very minimal ads or low cost with no ads

2) an easy, yet powerful editor--probably WYSIWYG style--that allows for a professional appearance

This would be for a small business, mainly as a way to give their customers basic info. Please give some basic info about costs and what the editor is like. It would be nice to possibly see a website created with the editor. Thank you for you help! :)

I have buillt 4 websites now.

Wix.com has a flash based system that is simple, but SEO optimization is limited.

BlueVoda.com is hands down the easiest way to build a more complex site, but they do require that you use their hosting services, but the hosting in comparable to any other.

If you create free website from any free hosting sites, then you will get the sub domain with their domain name. It is recommended to register your domain, .COM for just $10/year. Some free hosting sites allow you to use your registered domain with the free hosting account. Find a host with this feature or I suggest you freesite2you.

This free hosting site has Addon domain feature and allows you to use your registered domain with their free hosting account.

If you wish to get free hosting with free domain, then I suggest you to register for free hosting and free domain with freesite2you. But you won't get a free .COM domain, rather you will get free [.]CO[.]CC domain.

I like webs.com and yola.com the best. Yola has no ads and more bandwidth though, but webs has better templates.
