What muscles are used when you are in a wheelchair pushing yourself?

This is applied in a general forward direction. I would say that the pectorals and the anterior deltoids are used. Is there a more specific answer?

I would think that you are using your triceps, a little biceps, deltoids, and forearms. I don't think you use your chest very much, maybe a little though.

you need your hands to grip the wheels, and then your arms, and definitely need back support.
