What to wear with loop scarf?

I just bought a big knit loop scarf (aka an eternity scarf). Its got tan and white strips, similar to the link below (don't mind that it's a shower curtain):

It's decently long, and unwrapped it skims my knees. What kind of shirt should i wear (what color, cut etc) and should i wrap it or no?

    Dark jeggins, White, longish tee and tan Uggs or cowboy boots :)
