If by weapons you mean firearms then the laws in each state where the truck goes is the determining factor, some states prohibit firearms in vehicles and some do not, but you need to know each individual state law where you would be going or passing through.

Weapons laws vary from state to state. If you have a concealed carry permit in one state, there MAY be some reciprocity with other states.
Generally, a weapon may be carried in a vehicle in almost any state IF:
1) It is unloaded, and in a locked container, that the driver cannot reach (i.e. truck or maybe sleeper)
and
2) The ammunition is separated from the weapon. (i.e. not in the same container)

in addition to the link already given to you, there is also a LOT of rules if you drive for some one else, the company my husband worked for stated very clearly in the hand book that no weapons of any sort could be carried in the cab, if at any time one was found or any charges came from the weapon then it was reason for instant dismissal..............even IF you had a full and legal carry permit.
