Please note that this is a gift, and there is a rather low "budget" or "price limit", meaning I cannot purchase cards such as "Goblin Guide", "Arid Mesa", etc.

this looks good except for

1: cut the terramorphic expanse. fetches are good because it comes into play untapped. thinning your deck is not worth a land comming into play tapped. a life is a different story.

2: cut the bloodcrazed goblin. it sucks. seriously. if no goblin guide not that many good alternatives but still a lot of cards are better. 

3: change flame slash to burst lightning. seriously. a lot better.

The only realistic changes I'd make at this point, if you're on a budget, is to replace Bloodcrazed Goblin with Skitter of Lizards. Haste, multikicker option, and the ability to attack freely help a lot.

with your budget in mind...

cut the bloodcrazed goblin.  he's not very good.  in his place you can play flame slah for creature removal and kiln fiend pump.

Please remove Terramorphic Expanse, it is not a good option in this deck, basic mountains are better.
