Not loving Windows 7?

I just purchased a new computer yesterday with Windows 7. It is so different than what I am used to, Windows XP. First I had to enlarge my pages to 125% just to be able to read anything on them, I have a 17" flat screen monitor, and there is nothing wrong with my vision. Even at 125%, with text size set to larger I still struggle to read the text on many websites, such as Facebook. When I right click to bring up a pop-up screen, or I bring up a menu such as add/delete, the text is so tiny I have to move closer to the screen and squint to read it, again, there is nothing wrong with my eyesight.

If anybody has any suggestions I would be most appreciative.

I would like to mention that stick with Windows 7.

To increase the font while using the web browsing, hold "Ctrl"+"Shift"+"+/=" or "Ctrl"+scrolling up on keypad or mouse.

Also make sure the monitor is at the right level.

Haven't used Windows 7, but in older versions of Windows this problem would be solved by changing to a smaller screen resolution. This is usually under graphics card or monitor settings.

that's why as always said don't use IE

    switch off to

FireFOX (not Meganfox ;) lol )

    http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/personal.html

or APPLE (well yea it's a software not a fruit)

    http://www.apple.com/safari/

    OR Finally go to

    Desktop

    Right Click Personalize

or Type this on your addressbar

    Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Personalization

    then Display

then Smaller.!now Logoff and back to scene.

I expect the screen on the new computer is actually better than the old one. You need to lower the resolution of the new screen. Right click on the desktop, go to Properties then Settings and turn the screen resolution down.

I have 15" inch laptop running Windows 7 and I don't have any problem with reading texts and I have problems with my vision :D.

Maybe it's because of your web browser, try pressing "Ctrl +" to make pages look bigger. This should work.

I don't know about that, but when I downloaded IE 8, it crashed because I had google toolbar. I think it is because google is a competitor to windows. So now I stay with firefox, which doesn't update so much and doesn't try to nuke me.
