There is one with windows :- go on new / compressed (zipped folder)
give it a name and drag and drop your files in.
Otherwise IZArc is a good tool to create all types of archives and it is free!

Well, I've never heard of IZArc, but the link seems to be from a reputable site, so could give it a go.
Personally I used Winrar for years until I found 7zip, I especially like the fact it utilizes multiple processor cores, so high compression rates don't take forever, that might now be the case for Winrar, but when I switched it certainly wasn't

When zipping the file, you get to choose between rar and zip. Select Zip.

Try downloading "vista codec" and that will enable you to play MOV files with windows media player. If you prefer converting, just be warned that conversion from MOV will not be lossless.
