How to get rid of Airport Body Scanners?!?!?

I live in Chicago and unfortunately this city is increasingly becoming a police state. More police at the schools, more of these stupid a** cameras on every f***ing block and worst of all THE BULLS*** A** BODY SCANNERS! Next year I might be traveling quite a bit.

And I'm wondering HOW DO WE GET RID OF THE AIRPORT BODY SCANNERS!?!?!

Seriously THIS HAS GONE FAR ENOUGH!!!

Update:

"It would be illegal if wasn't the government"

"If you touch my junk, I'M GONNA HAVE YOU ARRESTED!!!" Lolol Pwnd!!!

This is ridiculous. What happens when the next wacko puts two pounds of TNT into his rectum? Mandatory cavity searches? CT scans before flights? Come on people wake up. The TSA hasn't caught one guy with one bomb at one airport. Ever.

The scanners aren't effective, expose you to ionizing radiation, and are an enormous invasion of your privacy. Those who would gladly trade liberty for security will have neither.

I personally opt-out every single time I get put in the virtual strip search line. If TSA's wants to invade my privacy like this, I'll at least make them work for it.

Being a frequent flyer, I hate body scanners so much but I doubt that they are going to go away any time soon. As long as terrorism is still perceived to be a threat, they're going to stay. There has been talk about suing the government because it infringes on the 4th amendment. Get used to it or don't fly.

The answer is simple. Travel naked and Fed-Ex your luggage. You'll sail through, no problem.

Body scanners are the result of living in a drastically overpopulated society crippled by hatred and fear. It's also the result of global travel in a global economy. Problems in one part of the globe affect everyone in every other part of the globe. You seem to forget that we are at war and have been for the past ten years, against an enemy who would love to blow us all to smithereens.

So get used to the body scanners.

    Or drive.

Or better yet, join the military and help fix this problem. No one else seems to be able to.

I agree, man- enough is enough. What can you do? Refuse to be subjected to the scanner. Everyone needs to refuse it. You may have to go through a physical pat-down, big whoop. In time that will pass, too. Just straight up refuse to have your body scanned; it's your right.

Sure, then get on a plane that flies into the Sears Tower. Moron.

You think the TSA agents care about what you look like underneath your clothes?

    Who are you, Brad Pitt?

You are a specimen to them, a specimen. They see hundreds of bodies a day. Cry baby.

    Boo Hoo.

I'm surprised, how people get frustrated when passing through securities channels. REMEMBER, it's done all because of YOUR security. Just imagine you have lost your family members in a blast, then...! You never know police faces risk everyday bcoz of you people, even sometimes they lost their lives bcoz of protecting YOU. I know its frustrating but again i must say its for your safety & they feel that 'Someone is waiting for you at home.

    Take care.

If everyone went to the airport nude they could get rid of the scanners.

And if a street camera helps catch a child molester it's worth it.

  • I don't think you can. You have to understand it's for your safety. So just deal with it. It's better than getting patted down in areas that are very personal.

Shoot all the bad guys/gals. Then no need for them

I'd like to keep them.. as long as it keeps the terrorists away.
