f(X)=-1/3(x-2)^2+3 ...?

Update:

i have to find the co-ords of the vertex of the parabola ...

then, find co-ords of x & y intersepts ...

    First of all expand brackets so...

    =(x-2) (x+2)

    =x^2-4

    Now put this back into the function:

    f(x)= -1/3x^2-1

    Differientiate this: f^-1(x)= -2/3x

    make -2/3x=0

    x=-1/0.67
