I am leaving a job I have been in for 6 years do i buy them anything?

I really like the people and am only leaving due to relocation.

I was going to take in a couple of bottles of fizz but do you think I should taken anything else in on my last day?

    Good idea. Cakes are good too! Some may not drink if they are driving. Hope they get you a leaving present too.

    Six years is a long time to stay at a job you did not like. If you liked the people you worked with get them a little parting gift. If they do nothing for you ...then you are the better person. Of course you could let it slip you are leaving them a plant, photo, or something and they may do what they are supposed to do and give you a parting gift. Pay it forward. Lead by example. Do the right thing. Let me know how it turns out. I get emails from those who I help. If you worked for me for six years I would give you somethig.....wonder what company it is........

    If you choose to buy them anything get them a pen cause if you retire all they would give you is a watch
