why is wisconsin ranked 6th and mi st. 11th?

If Michigan State is allowed a bad game then why not Wisconsin

Michigan State has a win vs Wisconsin and that is it

1. Wisconsin lost first - as in they had more time to rise back up after their drop off because of the loss

2. Wisconsin has a better "loss." The Badgers lost to the 11th ranked team by ten on the road. MSU lost to Iowa, a team ranked significantly lower than 11, by 31

Because Wisconsin has a better win against Ohio State, beating them good, and why is Michigan State allowed a bad game, against Iowa, and Wisconsin isn't, against MSU. The reason Wisconsin is ranked higher is they lost earlier in the season, and people think they are better than Iowa. It's not that complicated.

wisconsin also beat ohio state and iowa...plus, one of the things that voters consider is when the losses come...state-wisconsin was months ago, early in the season

voters count late season-losses as more. it doesn't necessarily make sense, its just the way it is

looking at how they've played since they went head-to-head, id say that wisconsin is the better team than state. in a rematch on a neutral site, I think they would win.

Michigan State, lost badly to Iowa State. Wisconsin won a close game to Iowa State. PLus Wisconsin gave Ohio state a good beating.

Then why isn't Iowa ahead of Michigan State? And why isn't Wisconsin ahead of Iowa? But if Wisconsin's ahead of Iowa, that would also mean they're ahead of Michigan State....but, but, but,...*brain explosion*
