What's a good action-based MMO?
I'd like to find a good action-based MMO to play so I can get a little experience with online gaming, but I really want to avoid any shooters. Nothing against them, but I like playing shooters alone since everyone I seem to find online there is a jerk. Like I said though, I'd prefer an action-based game as opposed to an MMORPG like WOW.
I know this really limits my options, but that's why I'm asking, because I can't find anything because of these restraints. Anyone have any ideas?

You could try an oldie but a goodie; Diablo 2.

It's tough to recommend a specific MMO game, because everyone likes something different. A game I love you may not. Check out http://mmohut.com/ for a huge list of these free mmorpg / mmo games. I personally use that site to find new games to play. Every few days I try a new game :) - It's a lot of fun because I try everything. They have like every single MMORPG categorized nicely with reviews, screenshots, videos and more. Heck they even list the game's system requirements!. Best part is all the games are free, which rocks.

I'd recommend DC Universe online it will be released in march and is available to pre-orders to be played with. the games seems to be promising i highly recommend you check it out, the graphics are good and they have found a new mechanism something new to try so i'd give it a go if u were you.

Check out http://thebigmmorpglist.com/ it has a huge list of over 300 and growing MMORPG / MMOFPS games in key categories such as Free to play (F2P), Pay to play (P2P), 2D, 3D, and so on. I guarantee you'll find the kind of game your looking for there.
