Malaysia, the lousiest basketball community in the world?
i'm an foreigner from the states and now working in malaysia. the country is nice...BUT!!!!
its so hard to get people to play at least nice basketball around here. i haven't met anyone who even knows the positions, who should play what. they don't know how to call travelling, NOTHING!
they only know that there's a 3 points line, you can't go outside, and that you have to shoot the ball in the basket. And one of the worst part of basketball in malaysia is - THEY DON'T SHOW NBA!!!.
so can you tell me any country that's worst than this?
yah i agree richie, i'm partly filipino whilst the love for basketball. it sucks here man big time (plus boxing - they didn't show our man manny's fight)

lol. look for filipino's in malaysia. they'll hook you up with the filipino's basketball community there. had the same experience in singapore. they too, like malaysia, don't play much basketball. luckily, i ran into a court that had a bunch of pinoys who regularly play basketball on weekends. hopefully, you'll find one too there.

Head over to its neighbor, the Philippines, a basketball-crazy country where you could see basketball hoops of any size, shape or form practically everywhere.
Plus, several tv channels that shows basketball games (NBA and PBA) 24 hours a day.
