Elaine or Elena
Not pregnant, just curious. My grandma's name is Elaine, and I like the idea of using a family name. The middle name would be Renee (my mom's middle name).
So, Elaine, Elena (el-AIN-ah), or neither?

I really like Elaine a lot better, though I have to admit Renee does flow better with Elena. Still, Elaine would be my pick personally. Elaine Renee doesn't sound bad, just not as smooth as Elena Renee.

I like Elena best and think that it flows better with Renee than Elaine does. I think Elena Renee sounds very good together.

Yes I love ELENA!! Elaine Renee would sound a bit weird, so I go Elena Renee. Another pronunciation is Eh-leh-nuh. I think it's Hispanic.
