Book in same genre as Ranger's Apprentice by John Flanagan or Wardstone Chronicles by Joseph Delaney?

Any suggestion on book that centered on apprenticeship, especially in middle age or fantasy setting.

    I can think of two off the top of my head:

    The Midwife's Apprentice by Karen Cushman (medieval setting, children's book)

    Magician by Raymond E. Feist (fantasy, adult book)

    I'll add more if I think of any. BTW, I loved the Ranger's Apprentice books!
