What is this level playing field, that Democrats keep claiming they are not getting?

Same schools

Same teachers

Same neighborhoods

Same towns

Where is this discrimination taking place?

Update:

So no one has ever made it out of the projects...again are we talking about the poor or blacks?

The same one where they rammed health-care, cap & trade, and Wall Street reform up our butts.

Their idea of "fair", is a their favor super-majority. When the tables turn, that's what they call unfair.

Democrats complain about how, schools in particular, America's public facilities are unfair to minorities. This, in public funding, is because of the no child left behind act, ironically pushed through by a republican. The fact that people are not seeming to understand is that both democrats and republicans are pushing for the same thing; its not equality, its not bipartisanship or anything that actually helps the people but rather helping themselves to our riches. They all want power! And the sooner we realize the better, shackle the government back down or else.

In the schools, towns, teachers, etc. Try living in any poor area for any given amount of time and you'll see how uneven the "playing field" really is
