Moving out of State...?
I have a son with my ex boyfriend. I want to move out of the state of FL for better job opportunities. Could my sons father stop me from moving? Keep in mind that he doesnt help at all with my son. He hasnt paid CS for the past 3 years. He hasnt held a job and isnt really a ideal father figure for my son..he was put on probation for pill doctor shopping. I left him because he was sell Oxy for money. So would the judge look at all his past and would it make it easier for me to move?

In Florida you could have him put in jail for non payment of support. And you can take him to court for support and back support. With him being in jail and he can't see the child anyway, perhaps you can move to another state. The problem with moving then is that that Florida law can't back you.
When there is a child involved then to keep the cost down it's best for both the parents to agree on everything. Each time you bring it back into court there could be an ongoing argument between you and your exbf which he could strip you of all your additional or new earnings out of spite. Talk with your attorney and ask the alternatives.

You have to check the laws of the state of Florida. Go to family services and ask for a lawyer to help you out. Good luck.
