Can you help me decide which restaurant to take my vegetarian friend to?
My friend and I (we're both moms that don't get to go out very often) have decided to go out for dinner & a movie tonight. I'm picking the restaurant and she's picking the movie. first, I thought, easy, my favorite restaurant, which she's never been to, However, she's vegetarian, and this restaurant does have a couple veg options, but not many. Threres also a restaurant I know of that isn't nearly as nice, but does have alot of veggie options. So, do I take her to the nice place where she'll have a couple things to choose from, or the ok place with more options? Help!
ps. the restaurant choice is to be a surprise, I may just end up asking her, but I'm looking for your advice first.

if the good restaurant is like much much better, then take her there. but if there are quite similar but the good one has nicer decor or something, then go to the one with more options on the menu.

I would rather go to a place with more veggie options than a nice place where I have to cobble something together from sides or order a dish with too many modifications. If you want to give her the nice dining experience, you can also call the restaurant, let them know that you're bringing your vegetarian friend, and is there anything they can create for her.

You could ask her yourself on what one she might like to go to, but if not I'd say the okay place with more options. Being a vegetarian it's nice to be able to go to a place were we can get more options to choose from. Also if that restaurant states what items are vegetarian then that's by far the place you want to take her.

Restaurant with better menu option! Vegetarians in a predominantly meat eating geography are pleasantly surprised that they as veggies are respected and enough representation is given in the menu!

Find out what the veggie options are, and then ask her what she thinks. Also many Italian restaurants have veggie meals. Greek pasta is just as good without the chicken, and there are many pasta dishes that don't have mean

if theres an olive garden anywhere near you that could be a good selection. they have some good dishes that don't even have meat in them, and theres some dishes that do have meat in them too.
it's also has good atmosphere
