can i grow coral in a 10 gallon tank with 6500k CFL, no actinic?
Here is an image of the tank... http://img4.imageshack.us/img4/1632/cimg1499563801...
It's my quarantine tank. I just keep my extra rock and a couple nerites in it. Everything is good on this tank for coral except the lighting. The clamp lamps are each 27 watt 6500k CFLs so the wattage is even great. Can corals be grown in this tank without using actinic lighting?

You could do low light corals. Shrooms, polyps, etc. If you want to frag high light sps corals in it you need more light. A small metal halide pendant bulb would not be very expensive.
