So why didn't the Rams run Steve Jackson more against the Falcons? Seemed like a no brainer.?

Rams are in the game until the 4th, yet Jackson only had 11 carries the entire game. Second and goal from the 2 and they pass twice. WTF? Seems like a no brainer to run him often to keep the Falcon's offense off the field. He averaged over 5 yards per carry, so it wasn't like he was ineffective. Instead of relying on their all-pro veteran running back, they rely on the inexperienced QB. I didn't get the game, only the box scores, so what am I missing? Are their coaches that inept?

because the main way to get by the atlanta defense is by throwing the ball.

That was a very good game ... I'm impressed by Sam Bradford and see him having a great career.

1 pick in the last 170 passes ... wow!

They did what they did based on how the Falcons defense stepped up ... Sam was hitting his passes so it wasn't a bad idea to pass more. The Falcons offense stayed on the field with their time consuming drives and the coach realized that they needed to score quickly and running the ball wasn't gonna get it done for them.

I'm looking forward to watching Sam and the Rams being contenders in their division within 2 years.

I think it will that abut that much time to get there.

Because Pat Shurmur is an idiot. SJax even averaged 5.0 yards or at least damn near close.

trying not to be predictable, on the up-side it gives Bradford the experience.
