What is this tab in my taskbar that starts every time i turn my computer on?
I have a tab in my taskbar that has an icon of a blue box with a white flower-like picture on the inside. If i click it, nothing happens, but if i run my mouse over it, it shows what looks my control panel.
This started appearing upon bootup around the time i installed the latest internet explorer (i'm not sure if it's related).
You can see the mysterious taskbar icon here: http://img39.imageshack.us/i/taskbarv.jp%E2%80%A6
I also opened up my task manager and the processes that are running can be viewed here: http://img259.imageshack.us/i/processesw%E2%80%A6
Could you tell me what application it is and how I can disable it upon start-up? Thanks in advance!

I clicked on the links you posted, but I didnt see what I was looking for. Scan your PC with your anti virus and see if it finds anything. To see if it is spyware related, scan with Superantispyware free edition.

Use the full scan option.

To prevent these programs from starting in the beginning, follow these step: i) Click on Start -> run ii) In the text bar, type 'msconfig' iii) You'll get a screen with a lot of options; go to the Startup tab. Iv) Uncheck the software you want to prevent from starting when you start the computer. Hope the info comes in handy.
