why does Brazil speak portuguese?

    Because Brasil is the largest country in Latin America that speak Portuguese if you claim land to colonize that first thing that people have to claim is the language and plus over 200 million + speak Portuguese and that number comes from Brasilians they speak Brasilian Portuguese.

    Well, why do people in any country speak any language? Brazilians speak Portuguese because of Portuguese colonization during the 15th century.
