is he interested in me?

okk well there is this boy in my reading and writing class. we went to middle school together and i couldnt stand him! like we got into this arugement because he was in my conversation talking trash. So all these girls liked him but i never did and didnt think he was cute at all. to me he looked like a peanut. but that was in 7th and 8th grade. now we r freshmen in high school, and he has matured. And according to my friends i have too, they say im more "confident" (lol). Now that we are in high school i still dont like him as a friend. to me he is conceited. but all the other girls are all over him. But anyways i look over at his side of the class (because im on the right side of the class by the wall and he is on the left by the wall) and i just see him looking at me. and ill look at him and smile but not giving him the time of day. And the girls that like him he likes to dis them. like when they say jokes he pretends it funny and rolls his eyes. but then with me he just looks at me. he doesnt roll his eyes he just looks. And then the other day when he was passing out books i had water on my desk. So all the girls are trying to talk to him, and he throws the books at them. Then when he gets to me (i dont talk to him) he puts it on my desk and takes my water and puts it on the desk in front of me.

me:where do you come from?

him:my moms stomach

me to my friend: he really doesnt know where he comes from

(he ingnores me)

my friend:lol right he stupid

him:i came from my moms v__________

then he gets in trouble.

another situtation: me and him are friends with my friend robin and he used to go stay across the room to talk to her and now he comes to her seat and talks to me and she is a row next to me and 2 seats behind me)

sorry to make this long but im confused because i think he likes me and idk what to do because im starting to like him too. and my friends are saying hes hard to get because they have tried to get with him. SO WHAT DO YOU THINK?
