I want a good A1 Chili recipe using crockpot?
I have only had chili made with A1 sauce once and it was so delicious. I can't find a recipe on the internet anywhere. Does anyone know what I can substitute for and use A1 sauce. I want it to turn out good. It's for alot of ppl. Thanks

Hi there!! Hopefully this is the A1 Chili recipe that you are looking for enjoy.
2 bottles of A1 sauce
3lbs ground turkey or beef
2 med onion, peeled and diced
2 red peppers, diced
5 tbsp chili powder
1 tbsp ground cumin
1/2 tsp oregano
1/2 tsp thyme
1 (28 oz) canned crushed tomatoes
1 (5 oz) can tomato paste
1 (15 oz) canned red kidney beans, drained
1 (15 oz) canned chickpeas, drained
1 (15 oz) canned navy beans, drained
1 (15 oz) tomato sauce
2 Tbsp olive oil
salt and black pepper to taste
Place oil in pan and brown the meat.
Add the meat and remaining ingredients in a crockpot and cook on LOW for 8 to 10 hours.

The canned ones are essentially already cooked. The dry ones are hard as rocks and will need soaking and a long cooking time. Why don't you google crock pot chili recipes and see what you get. I imagine you will get recipes using both canned and dry. The crock pot makes excellent chili by the way. I like using dry beans and the long cooking time really let the flavor get into the chili.
