Well, to try and get onto youtube you can try using a proxy which makes the website use an anonymous web address so the internet doesn't recognise that the site is actually youtube, you can find some here www.proxywebsites.biz. Then to download the youtube video you can download many youtube downloaders such as http://youtubedownload.altervista.org/ which is free and you don't need to register.

Download Realplayer and install it.

Once installed whenever you would play a youtube video and place your cursor on top of the video you would see a rectangular bar come up on the top right side of the video, just press it and the video will start downloading.

Open Local Settings>Temporary Internet Files> directory.

Delete all the files in this directory(You can actually avoid this step, this step is just to make your job easy, to easily identify the file in which to download)

Go to YouTube or other website and play the video you want to save.

Go to the "Temporary Internet Files" directory. Here you can see the files that are part of the webpages you opened recently saved in this directory.

Copy the entire directory to Desktop or some other location, as your search will be easier if the directory is copied to a new location.

Open the new directory, and check each file. The video file you are looking for will usually be several megabytes (MB), depending on the length of the video. It will have the file extension ".flv"

Open all the shortlisted files with an flv player.
