Is there really someone this sick on Earth?

To be jealous because you are a top contributor on Y/A. There was a question posted on here about being desperate to become a Top Contributor on Y/A? Really, is there someone out there that is really this SICK?

All I can figure of someone that would even post something like this is that they got told something they didn't want to hear by a top contributor, or they are jealous of someone being a top contributor, and don't you think this is just sick?

Update:

What does this have to do with M&D, the original question was posted in F&R. Get over myself, OMG, I am not a narcissist. I have been on here for several years and I don't have more than one account.

I never looked at Y/A as being a competitive tool. I always figured that answers were given based on your knowledge, wisdom, or desire to help

one whom may be in despair. In essence I believe that God has made us all different with our own uniqueness. We all look at life out of different windows and that's fine for it enhances our visions and aspiration. It's ok to want to be the best at what ever you choose to as long as you don't condemn your purpose. Smile

I got a top contributor badge one time in this section. It was really embarrassing. I stayed away from YA for a while so it would go away with my inactivity. When you have a badge for dating/marriage you tend to lose credibility in the legitimate sections I visit like Military or History.

PS: No one is jealous of you.

And if you consider someone "sick" because they insulted or insinuated desperation for your badge, then you really don't know what "sick" is.

There is nothing wrong with wanting to be a top contributor, and it's not 'sick' there are many sick things that happen in this world this isn't one of them! If someone is jealous of you then that's there look out, I wouldn't worry about their childish antics.

Actually we should pity top contributors.

I know I spend an embarrassingly great deal of time here and am not a top contributor.

The amount of time and effort to become a top contributor is an indication one has little else going on in their life.

  • LMAO Why would anyone be jealous of a top contributor? Tell them to get a life...;)

Everyone aspires to the lofty title of top contributor but only chosen few can make it to the top. It's like getting the medal of honor or something like that. So yes, there's a lot of jealousy and back stabbing in the YA world..

and this is related to marriage and divorce how? a top contributor on YA is nothing to be proud about or be jealous of. In fact often times it is so random and biased. who cares

all top contributors are voting for themselves and having multiple accounts asking and answering their own questions and picking themselves as best answer. so becoming a top contributor is just a matter of wasting lots and lots of time on yahoo. i think THIS is sick

I think the whole concept of Top Contributor is a bit juvenile.
