how do i find the wattage of a blender?
there are no tags/plates....from another country - getting a power converter but not sure how many watts to get????? thinking 750 should be more than enough.

There is no way to determine that. You can only get resistance of the motor without actually running it and you don't know what the design voltage is so you shouldn't run it. If you knew the design voltage you could calculate it. You can possibly determine that from the cord end (plug) then you could use Ohm's law to calculate.

"From another country", meaning? Is it from Europe? Or the US? Voltage plays a role in the VA rating. VA = volt/amps which is what AC electrical equipment with reactantce (motor, transformer) is measured in. A pure resistance AC device like a light bulb, (incandescent) or heater, are measured in watts. So, a 750 watt inverter should work. (746 watts =1 hp.)

If there are no tags/plates and you do not even know where it came from and you do not know how to measure the rating then you do not know how safe it is or how dangerous either. Get rid of it.
