This is a problem that can't be resolved since Runescape set their trade limit. The trade limit exists because of players such as yourself, trying to give others freebies. Maybe you should give your friend 10k just to start him off and he can work for the rest.

The few options that still remain are very slow & only move the GP in small increments. It would be much faster for him to simply make the GP than to waste his time trying to trade you.

Simples. Your friend needs to get about 1m or so in "junk" items(i.e. items that never buy/sell on the GE or are utterly useless). Then all he needs to do is trade you those "junk" items for the 1m and BAM he has that 1m in cash and you have about 1m in junk that you can use in trades for stuff whom's GE price is below the street price(ie rares such as phats, pumpkins, disks of returning, etc. and some extremely expensive armor such as Divine and Elysian shields)
