Should NFL teams hire goons to take out the other teams star QB?

I think it's a great idea. Sign some guys from MMA such as Chuck Liddell and Rampage Jackson. After the other teams franchise QB's throws a TD pass, hit him in the face with a right cross well after the play is over. It is ONLY a $25,000 fine (if that). Well worth it to knock out Tom Brady, Peyton Manning or Drew Brees out of a playoff game. Goon it up just like Old Time Hockey.

Nice job jackwagon Goodell.

Update:

No- you just sign the goon for only ONE play! He's there to take people OUT not to play football.

That's the dumbest thing I've ever read here. Yeah, it's really cool to have a goon tear a guy's ACL or MCL so that he's never the same after surgery, or break his leg like LT did to Theismann way back when (though that was an accident) so he can never play again. It's one thing to have it happen in the course of a game, but to have someone out there intentionally doing it? Not only that, you'd be taking a roster space away from someone that can actually contribute to multiple facets of the game, like all the special teams formations.

So, not only is this idea as stupid as anything I've ever read, from an owner's standpoint it doesn't make financial sense; from a coaches standpoint it doesn't make any strategical sense.

    Stay classy.
